Function of Beauty Reviews

I thought I liked it and had been using it for over a year, but after I stopped using it my hair got 10x healthier.

I have been BLOWN AWAY by the difference function of beauty customized hair care products have made with not just my hair but also my scalp health. I have shoulder length, fine, naturally blonde hair and a lot of it... every time I wash my hair (and finish with your leave-in conditioner), even my husband comments on how amazing it smells, looks, and feels.

We love your products!! My hairdresser says my hair is in great shape shin e using your shampoos. My husband loves the body wash and especially that he can have the no scent. I love it all and the body lotion makes my skin so soft and feeling nice.

I just love my shampoo and conditioner from Function of Beauty. I always have had problems with my hair having so much volume and oily. With these products my hair is much better that before, more soft and less frizzy.
Plus I had problems with my package and the customer service responded immediately and they really went beyond my expectations. Thank you so much, really highly recommended!!

My hair is feeling so healthy, the color looks great, and it's growing! So glad I switched away from drugstore shampoo to something that nourishes my hair. I also love the smell and the look of the products (and the stickers)

I have an account with function of beauty. I have previously bought shampoo’s from them. But then suddenly I got 49 euro taken out of my account even though I never placed an order for a second shampoo on the 8th of feb 2021.The money was automatically taken out of my account even though I never bought it and I got an email saying that the order had been placed and would arrive soon. can’t trust this company to buy my products as money is being taken out of my account without my consent or knowledge. I have tried emailing them about it but have got no response from them.

I am quite disappointed in this. Given the cost as well as the mass media coverage with testimonials all over the internet singing the praises of Function of Beauty it sounded like a good brand. After being sceptical for a long time I finally caved and bought a shampoo, conditioner, body moisturiser and body wash. I filled out the questionnaire with my hair and skin goals and was hopeful this could be a good purchase, but after using this for 3 months I am really disappointed. My hair goals were to tame the halo of frizz I often get around my quite straight hair as well as to add some volume and stop my hair getting greasy so fast. My hair actually got frizzier and it definitely got oily as quickly as before. The fragrance of the shampoo and conditioner, though lovely when using in the shower, wore off almost as soon as my hair was dry. Since I have run out of the shampoo and conditioner I have gone back to my normal and I have been so relieved to see my frizz has calmed down, and it actually looks much better than when I was using FoB. The body wash and body moisturiser smell lovely, but I would not say they are as ultra-moisturising as they claim to be considering I filled out my skin profile as very dry. Sadly I would not spend that amount of money on this when I can spend a few pounds on products that work much better.

They trick you with getting a subscription. I just wanted to try it but I'm still paying for a subscription that I didnt even want and is an extortion amount of money! I want a refund but their customer service is terrible! They just sent "robot" replies. I've been wanting to cancel for weeks but their website is complicated and doesn't allow you to delete your card. I want a refund, not the shampoo and conditioner. Also for that I haven't seen much of a difference. It's too expensive and customer service is rubbish! This was an UNAUTHORISED payment that they took from me and I want a refund ASAP!

I paid for really fast shipping and still has been over two weeks

First of all, they either pay people to leave positive reviews, or the reviews are from people who work for the company (that goes for reviews on other platforms too, INCLUDING THEIR OWN WEBSITE, and also delete negative reviews on their own website).

Secondly, their shampoo and conditioner do not do anything. I have tried several different combinations and did not see any visible results after using the entire bottles, both times. For the price of around 50 dollars, it is SO not worth it. This stuff should be priced about 10-20 dollars given the value.

Thirdly, the way they handled a situation just turned me off from them COMPLETLY! Let me explain. I ordered another shampoo and conditioner (giving them a third and final try) in May. I understand this is during the COVID crisis so did not put up a fuss about a longer than normal delivery time. After 2 whole months of waiting, I got an email that said my package was delivered. I looked everywhere around my mailbox and did not see a package. I contacted FoB, AND the USPS to try to figure this out. Long story short, FoB sent me another package for free. Well, I didn't receive that one either (another month had passed). They refused to give me a refund because I said I did not want a third replacement after dealing with them for MONTHS! I finally had to contact my bank and issue a chargeback claim for a fraudulent company. I got my money back through my bank but this is the last time I will EVER buy anything or even speak a word about this company unless it's something negative.

I have used once my hair feels great But very expensive and missing pump tube leaking shampoo bottle on arrival yet to be resolved
